Founded by Tyler and Natalia Snider, Independence Overland is a storytelling brand built around the pursuit of exploration, craftsmanship, and self-reliant travel. What began as a passion for the outdoors and vehicle builds has evolved into an adventure and media platform - sharing stories, gear, and insights from life on and off the road.

From the mountains of the West to the forests of the Midwest, Tyler documents the journey with an emphasis on practical overlanding setups, thoughtful gear reviews, and cinematic storytelling. With a background in mechanics and a deep respect for design and function, he builds capable, purpose-driven rigs - including his latest project, a Toyota Tacoma Trailhunter outfitted with an Alu-Cab ModCap camper.
