Katmai National Park is a protected wilderness area located in the far southern region of the state of Alaska. It covers an area of approximately 3.7 million acres and is known for its stunning volcanoes, glaciers, and rugged coastline.
One of the most popular areas in Katmai National Park is Brooks Camp. Many visitors stop here to view the brown bears from a viewing platform.
