Trail Information
The Rubicon Trail is a 22-mile off-road trail that runs through the Sierra Nevada Mountains in California. The trail is renowned for its challenging terrain and attracts off-road enthusiasts from around the world. It's really the super bowl of off-road challenges.
To complete this trail, you need a vehicle with large tires, good ground clearance, low-range gearing, plenty of underbody protection, and adequate recovery gear. You'll commonly see Jeep Wranglers, Toyota 4Runners/Tacomas, or other similar vehicles that are heavily modified. Be prepared to carry enough supplies for the entire trip since there are no stores or amenities along the trail.
