Trail Information
Sevenmile Rim is a fantastic, moderate 4x4 route located just outside of Moab, UT. Unlike many of the other well-known trails in the area with name s that suggest a high probably of body damage, this trail offers an opportunity to those looking to take many stock or slightly modified 4x4 vehicles on an adventure. The trail is packed with views for its entire length and it offers a wonderful sample of the various terrain types you'll encounter in the surrounding area.
Sevenmile Rim is equally well-suited for newer drivers looking to gain off-road experience & skills, families looking for a fun day trip, and experienced drivers looking for a more casual day on the trail exploring some of the trail's incredible natural features.
Features
The highlight feature along this trail is the incredible Uranium Arch. In addition, you will great views and access to the Monitor and Merrimac Buttes, and Determination Towers. For those interested in geology, this trails runs in close proximity to the Moab Fault.
Difficulty
There are a few difficult sections, but stock vehicles with high clearance can manage with good tire placement. The trail has been marked by the Red Rock Four Wheelers Jeep Club but it's recommended to have a quality guide book for navigation app. Markings can fade and signs have been known to disappear, so you must prepared to find your way.
