Trail Information
Metal Masher is a well-known off-road trail located in the Moab region of southeastern Utah. It's a favorite among off-road enthusiasts due to its challenging terrain, stunning scenery, and technical obstacles. A particularly unique highlight of this trail is an incredible overlook found midway through the trail. It offers one of the best views you can find in the area, overlooking highway 191 facing north.
To reach the trail, you'll use Gemini Bridges road, which is a treasure of its own. Make sure to take time to appreciate the surrounding landscape as you make your way to and from the trailhead.

Metal Masher is considered a challenging trail, suitable for experienced off-road drivers. It features a combination of rocky sections, steep ascents and descents, and tight spots between rock formations. The trail's difficulty can vary based on weather conditions and recent maintenance.
