Hell's Revenge is a world-renowned off-road trail located near Moab, Utah. This challenging trail is a must-visit for any off-road enthusiast looking to test their skills and experience the stunning desert landscape of Utah.
The trail is approximately six miles long and takes about two to three hours to complete. It is rated as a difficult-level off-road trail, which means that it is suitable for experienced off-roaders who have a high degree of skill and experience in navigating challenging terrain. Hell's Revenge features a variety of obstacles, including steep inclines, slickrock domes, and narrow ledges that test drivers' skills and nerve.
One of the most well-known obstacles on the Hell's Revenge trail is the Hell's Gate. This obstacle consists of a steep drop-off that requires drivers to carefully navigate down a narrow chute and then back up the other side. The Hell's Gate is a daunting obstacle that requires precision driving and a steady hand, and it is one of the most challenging features on the trail.
Another famous obstacle on Hell's Revenge is the Escalator. The Escalator is a series of hills running through a v-notch that requires drivers to carefully pick their line. The Mickey's Hot Tub is another iconic feature on Hell's Revenge. This obstacle is a steep incline that leads up to a deep pit filled with water. Drivers must carefully navigate up the incline and then drop down into the pit, where they must then drive through the water and back up the other side.
Despite the challenging nature of Hell's Revenge, the trail is also incredibly scenic and offers stunning views of the surrounding desert landscape. As drivers make their way along the trail, they'll be treated to panoramic views of Moab, the Colorado River, and the La Sal Mountains. The view at the overlook just passed the entrance to Hell's Gate is particularly epic.
