Elephant Hill

Its reputation as a "Difficult" trail is well-deserved, as it demands precise driving skills, a well-equipped 4x4 vehicle, and nerves of steel.

To conquer Elephant Hill, your vehicle needs to be equipped with features like high clearance, off-road tires, skid plates, and recovery equipment including tow straps and a winch. It's also important to understand and respect the park regulations and obtain the required permits, as the trail passes through Canyonlands National Park.

Safety is paramount on this trail. Traveling in a group is recommended for support, communication, and assistance during challenges. Keep safety gear, ample water, and emergency supplies on hand, as the desert environment can be unpredictable.
