But then, in October 2023, it got caught up in something bigger. The Bureau of Land Management (BLM) decided to close it down as part of their Labyrinth Rims Gemini Bridges Travel Management Plan. In response to this closure, we have joined forces with the Blue Ribbon Coalition (BRC), a leading organization committed to preserving responsible recreational access to public lands and waters. The BRC is at the forefront of the battle to reopen Deadman Spring, advocating for a balanced approach that ensures environmental protection while maintaining the public's right to access.
