Out in Moab, Utah, where the landscapes are as rugged as they are beautiful, Deadman Spring trail was one of those spots that really let you feel the wild heart of the area. But then, in October 2023, it got caught up in something bigger. The Bureau of Land Management (BLM) decided to close it down as part of their Labyrinth Rims Gemini Bridges Travel Management Plan. This wasn't just about losing access to a trail; it felt like a moment that made us all stop and think about what it means to have these open spaces and who gets to enjoy them. It's more than just a path that's been closed—it's like we're missing a piece of the conversation with the great outdoors.

In response to this closure, we have joined forces with the Blue Ribbon Coalition (BRC), a leading organization committed to preserving responsible recreational access to public lands and waters. The BRC is at the forefront of the battle to reopen Deadman Spring, advocating for a balanced approach that ensures environmental protection while maintaining the public's right to access.

Our partnership with the BRC is built on a shared vision of free and equal use of public lands. By collaborating, we aim to amplify our voice and resources to support the cause effectively.
