Trail Information
The Chicken Corners Trail is a popular trail located near Moab, Utah. It offers a scenic and adventurous route through the desert landscape, providing stunning views of the Colorado River, towering red rock formations, and the surrounding canyon country. According to some, it is considered to be one of the most beautify trails in the Moab area.
Features
The trail starts near the Kane Creek area, southwest of Moab, and follows a path along the rim of the Colorado River canyon. Its name comes from a particularly narrow section of road that skirts along the edge of a cliff. This part of the trail can be intimidating for some due to the exposure, but it also provides incredible views of the Colorado River below.
The trail can usually be completed in a few hours, but the actual time will depend on factors such as trail conditions, driving speed, and stops for photos or sightseeing.
Difficulty
The trail is considered moderately difficult and is suitable for stock, high-clearance, 4WD vehicles. Some sections will require careful attention due to exposure.
