DBBB Trails Plus

Come explore the Daniel Boone Backcountry Byway (DBBB), climb new heights at the Natural Bridge State Park, dive into new adventure with underground boating at the Red River Gorge.  This is sure to be a trip you’ll never forget!

Plan to arrive the evening of July 17th in the Slade Kentucky area at your leisure.  We’ll begin Thursday the 18th by hiking the Natural Bridge State Park followed by your choice of underground kayaking or boat ride. Friday the 19th and Saturday the 20th will be spent making the full DBBB loop.

Ticket price includes 4 nights rustic camping at Whittleton Campground, 2 days trail guiding the DBBB, 2 Kayak rentals (or guided boat tours) and a guided hike thru the natural bridge state park and your earned DBBB commemorative badge from All Roads Taken.  We will provide GMSR radios for those that need them.  Meals and camping gear are to be self-provided.

The trail difficulty level will depend on the weather, but with that said I would rate these trails as a 5/6 on a 1-10 scale.  Minimum vehicle recommendations are:  True 4wd, 33″ tall all terrain tires or greater, recovery rope or strap.  Lockers and a winch are not required but are always good to have when off-road.

CANCELLATION POLICY: Cancellations made more than 21 days in advance of the tour date are subject to a 10% cancellation fee. Cancellations made with less than 21 days from departure date are subject to a 50% cancellation fee. No-shows and cancellations within 48 hours will be charged 100% of the ticket price.
