Park Information
Holly Oaks ORV Park is located near Groveland Oaks County Park and Campground, off I-75 at Grange Hall and Dixie Highway. The park is operated by Oakland County Parks as part of a joint state-county project in partnership with the Michigan Department of Natural Resources. It is open to all types of off-road vehicles, including full-size vehicles, side-by-sides, all-terrain vehicles (ATVs), and motorcycles.
The park consists of former and active sand and gravel mines which provide a diverse range of terrains. One of the more interesting areas is known as the "North 60," which is a scramble area where riders are free to create their own paths. The North 60 features extreme terrain, from mud flats to 40-foot vertical cliffs.
It's important to note that Holly Oaks ORV Park operates on a "ride at your own risk" basis. Hazards can change in an old mine site, so vehicle operators should be cautious and aware of the terrain in front of them before proceeding.
For the most up-to-date information, including park hours, fees, and specific rules and regulations, we recommend you visit the official website of Oakland County Parks or contact the park directly.
