Park Information
Pinnacles National Park is a United States National Park located in central California. It was established as a national park in 2013 and is managed by the National Park Service. The park is known for its unique geological features, including towering spires, deep canyons, and cave systems. These features were formed by volcanic and tectonic activity millions of years ago. The park is home to a diverse array of plants and animals, including rare and endangered species such as the California condor. Pinnacles National Park is a popular destination for rock climbing, hiking, and picnicking. It is located approximately 130 miles south of San Francisco.

West Gate Hours: 7:30 am - 8pm, day use only.

This park is known to have a Mediterranean climate. Summers are hot and dry, winters are mild. The park does see big swings in temperature, so please come prepared for varied weather. Sunscreen is highly encouraged. Water is not provided on the trail, so please bring plenty.
